]]> In ‘Het Geheim van De Nachtwacht’ neemt auteur en programmamaker Marc Pos je mee op een waanzinnig avontuur: de reconstructie van De Nachtwacht. Voor het tv-programma Het Geheim van de Meester werden eerder al dertig kunstwerken gereconstrueerd. Alle opgedane kennis en ervaring worden nu ingezet voor de reconstructie van De Nachtwacht, letterlijk en figuurlijk een van de grootste meesterwerken ter wereld. Het team, bestaande uit Lisa Wiersma, Michel van de Laar, Thijs Hagendijk en Joris Dik, staat voor een ongelofelijke uitdaging. Tijdens het proces wordt pas duidelijk hoe omvangrijk dit project is: er is extra hulp nodig bij het schilderen en het team stuit op problemen met de onderschildering. We volgen het team tijdens hun zoektocht die uiteindelijk leidt tot een reconstructie waarmee het niet alleen in de voetsporen van Rembrandt treedt, maar ook het geheim van De Nachtwacht voor het publiek ontrafelt.
